Welcome to psychologist, Megan Landers!

Megan Landers is an AHPRA registered psychologist and an Adjunct Associate Professor with the School of Applied Psychology, Griffith University, QLD. Megan holds an Honours Degree and PhD in Psychology, is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, and is an approved provider of mental health services under Medicare.

Megan works with adolescents and adults to help manage a range of psychological issues, including depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict and/or distress, work-related challenges, grief and loss, adjustment to chronic illness, life and career role transitions, and behaviour change (promoting healthy behaviour in relation to smoking, alcohol consumption, physical activity and nutrition). Megan has held teaching and research positions at leading national universities over the past 16 years.

In her academic role she is responsible for the professional and research training of undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students.Megan’s therapeutic approach is solution-focused and draws on a number of evidence-based techniques, including: acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and exposure-based therapy.
