
Welcome to Kitty Saleh, Social Worker and Arts Psychotherapist who has recently started practice at Goonellebah Medical Centre.
Kitty is a Social Worker and Arts Psychotherapist who uses drama therapy, humanistic methods of counselling, psychoeducation and mindfulness in working with clients. She has extensive experience over twenty-five years of working in community service and education. Kitty also works part-time as a sessional tutor at the Australian College of Applied Professions teaching on the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in counselling.
Kitty is now in private practice at Goonellabah Medical Centre and sees clients for individual sessions and in groups. Kitty works on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the centre. Kitty is passionate about working with adults, young people and children in trauma recovery, mental health and with victims of crime. Kitty is a registered Social Worker with Victims Services NSW and DVA.
Kitty is a member of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and a provisional member of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapy Association (ANZACATA).
