Goonellabah Medical Centre would like to thank the UCRH (University Centre for Rural Health) for their Christmas gift of appreciation in our role of teaching medical students.
At Goonellabah Medical Centre, we are pleased to encourage new doctors into our community and have the privilege of teaching medical students from the University Centre for Rural Health. Our current medical student is Aiasha Saikal (shown above) who is a medical student of University of Wollongong’s Graduate School of Medicine.
She is in her third year of study and is spending 12 months with GMC which began in July 2016. Aiasha has previously completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) – majors in psychology, genetics and neuroscience.
