Dr David Glendinning is an Authorised Health Professional for Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Safety Medicals.
Rail Worker Medicals have different categories depending on the level of safety required for the job position.
A basic medical includes hearing, vision and mobility but also includes a drug and alcohol screen.
For more complicated work positions, a general medical plus testing of psychological health, sleepiness score and alcohol intake is required.
