What is MyMedicare? The Australian Government is soon to launch a new initiative called MyMedicare. An aim of the new initiative is to improve continuity of care with general practice for patients and their general practice. MyMedicare will allow patients to access such reforms as longer telehealth consultations. Patients can register for MyMedicare from 1 October 2023. Goonellabah Medical Centre will be registered to provide these services under MyMedicare from the starting date, 1 November 2023. More information regarding registration still to come.
