Jonathan Munro is a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society and College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists. He has been a psychologist since 1997. His qualifications include a BA (Psych), Graduate Diploma of Counselling, Med (Counselling) and PhD (Special Education). Jonathan's special interest and expertise is in the following areas: assessment of cognitive functioning and developmental disabilities, behaviour problems of children and adolescents, family relationships, parenting counselling, work related problems, anxiety and depression, and general adult psychology. In addition, Jonathan is Chair of the NSW State Executive of the Australian Psychological Society, Member of the National Rural Faculty of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and International Affiliate of the American Psychological Association.

Toby Wilson is a qualified psychologist who typically works from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework but has a flexible approach depending upon his clients’ needs. He also utilises Mindfulness and Gotman Therapy. His therapeutic approach focuses on evidence-based peer-reviewed techniques which are shown to produce quantifiable measures of improvement for his clients. Toby understands the importance of the therapeutic alliance which is developed with clients to achieve the best outcome for recovery.

Toby has a broad range of skills and experience which includes assisting with pain management, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress and substance abuse. He is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and has facilitated in areas of workplace disputes, relationships and other legal contexts. He is an approved provider for Medicare, NSW Workcover and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Grainne O'Brien is a qualified Social Worker providing services at the Goonellabah Medical Centre. She is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and is also a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker. Grainne has over 20 years' experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, many of whom have experienced some form of psychological trauma. This includes people who have experienced physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, issues with alcohol and other drugs. She has accessed professional development and training in Crisis and Trauma Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, psychological arousal reduction techniques, Indigenous population focused assessment and intervention, Suicide intervention, Mindfulness practices, Solution focused and Narrative approaches, elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Additionally, she offers skills training for a range of client needs, including but not limited to, communication difficulties, anger management, general adjustment difficulties, social skills deficits and problem solving.

Helen Hanslow is a clinical hypnotherapist and neurolinguistic programming practitioner. Helen works with children, teenagers and adults. She has 20 years experience in both Government and community sectors. Helen works at Goonellabah Medical Centre on Mondays and Fridays.
